Metaspiritualism???

"Universal Consciousness equals the realization of total oneness.

"Normal" consciousness equals the realization of oneness with my physical body as a "self" or more commonly THE "self".

Hopefully most of us are aware and accept the fact that our physical body is made up of billions and billions of cells. But why is it that we refer to these billions and billions of cells as our ONE self when we can truely see that we are made up of billions and billions of seperate "selves" or living organisms called cells?

This is because the "normal" consciousness has realized that "we", the body as the "self" control these bilions and bilions of cells to the point that we can tirle our physical bodies as ONE. This I call the macromaterial awakening.

Next, i will explain the best i can what the next level of awakening is. This is known as the spiritual awakening.

Just as all humans at a level of "normal" consciousness realize that we are in control of our billions and billions of cells, cells too realize at a level of, what i call, "micromaterial" consciousness - which is a branch of the egofull consciousness - that they are a single "body" made up of billions and billions of seperate ATOMS.

This cycle acts as a theoretical limit of self consciousness ultimately ending up at an unobtainable "energy" consciousness (which is quite silly because in a way both limits of this spectrum of consciousness end in the unobtainable "energy" consciousness).

Just as we have evolved to this macromaterial awareness in which we exist today, there also exist higher levels of conciousness that we have yet to become aware of or realize. Many have already reached this awareness through spiritual practices (i.e. meditation, mantras, etheogens, etc.), however a large majority of society still exist within this "macromaterial" level of consciousness and this is the reason as to why the spiritual practices of shamanism are exploited and ridiculed.

All great ideas which later envoke evolution or revolution begin with a stage of mass-objection and mass-exploitation from society. Pythagoras and Aristotle stated that the earth was round and look at the trouble this brought them. They were ridiculed their entire lives and as for most great thinkers the validity of their ideas weren't appreciated or accepted until long after their death.

This is why the missionaries of the so called "One World Religion" aka Christianity, which reflect the agenda of the power hungry oligarchy of macromaterial selves, titled shamanistic practices as the work of the "devil" (who is only another false creation of the macromaterial self used to create fear and serve "justice") and because of this could slay large masses of these shamanistic tribes along with all of their writings and idea. A somehow "just" reasoning for mass genocide.

When we realize the control our "macromaterial" consciousness has on the billions and billions of cells, we realize the reason as to why we call our physical bodies ONE self. Now we must too do the same and realize the control our "spiritual" consciousness has on the billions and billions of physical bodies that make up our society. Once we realize the control our "spiritual" consciousness has - which is the ability to manifest our whole entire physical reality - we can move entirely beyond the physical and into a new realm of consciousness known to most as the "spiritual".

Once we realize the control of our "spiritual" consciousness, we realize the dissolution of our ego or false, material self. From this point, just as our physical bodies can be titled ONE self, we can now title our whole entire population of physical bodies which make up our society, and infact all of the experiences that make up our physical realm as well, as ONE.

This Oneness is known as "spiritual" consciousness. The egoless consciousness that one experience on mushrooms most possibly is not the universal consciousness but only the "spiritual" consciousness, which is just "one" step closer to the limited ultimate consciousness.

This so called "spiritual" consciousness is only egoless in the fact that my "macromaterial" self has been dissolutionized and that I am one with all in which i have experienced physically.

However, who is to say that there are not many, many, MANY experiences that i have not experienced (i.e. spiritual or metaspiritual experiences) which I am unable to achieve oneness with.

Perhaps spiritualism to this "metaspiritualism" plane of consciousness is the same as materialism to this so called "spiritual" consciousness and therefore no more incorrect or no more of an illusion.

For if the spiritual world lies outside or engulfs the material world, what lies outside or engulfs this spiritual world aka the universe as a void of vibrational possibility and probability. I call this metaspirtuality.

For now i do not know and this remains only a theory of course until i pervade into new experiences beyond the "spiritual" consciousness.

Till then, I guess happy travels to everyone on, or seeking the awareness of the "spiritual" consciousness plane."

Principles of Light

The Most Infinite & Transcendental separated itself into uncountable tiny parts, which fell into the illusions of separation & darkness. Each of us is God's Dream. Don't let that Dream become a nightmare....

I've found that literal interpretations of scriptures, lead to nonsense. Only from the context of Mystical experience can one make sense out of them. The qualities of serenity, compassion, humility, & wisdom proceed from an inner Realization, and otherwise, it really doesn't matter, what you believe or think. Scriptures are like a pointing finger. The question is, are you going to stare at the finger, or are you going to investigate what the finger is pointing at?

An Atheist once said to me, "If your life is to have any value, then you must put it there." I like that a lot. It didn't bother me a bit that he didn't believe in God, because it was obvious, through his conduct in life, that he was much closer to God, than most people who do believe. And in that, you will find the context of what really matters. When people live in serenity, and practice compassion & love in the conduct of their lives, they are demonstrating the Essence that inspired religions in the first place. And that is certainly more fundamental than any scriptures.

Time spent in anger, is time you cannot spend in love. Time spent in sorrow, is time you cannot spend in joy. Time spent in destroying, is time you cannot spend creating. Time spent in learning, is time you cannot spend being foolish. Time spent in healing, creates time you can spend in health. Time spent in meditation, enables you to see clearly enough, so that you will not waste any time.

On the Spirtitual Plane everyone knows what the Truth is. However, the more disconnected one is to their Real Self, the more one needs to justify whatever gobbledegook they have substituted for the Truth. How else can they prove to themselves that they believe whatever nonsense that they believe, than by attacking anyone who believes differently than they do? This is why Fundamentalists of any religion are always so quick to resort to violence & terrorism.

On the other hand, the more one is connected to their Real Self, the more one is prone toward tolerance & compassion. Regardless of what Spiritual Tradition to which one adheres, the closer to Enlightenment one gets on their Path, the more one will enjoy discussing the process of how to become Illuminated with people who are working towards this through other Paths. Each of the Great Traditions is stronger than the others, in some aspect of this. When we put them all together, then the Key will turn in the lock, and we will all know the Truth.

When a soul chooses to move toward the Light, the darkness that has previously, been draining their energies to sustain the darkness, must assert itself to maintain its dominion. So everything seems to fall apart in your life, nothing that you desire to accomplish seems to come into fruition, and all of your efforts appear to be fruitless. That is the appearance of things in the material world. Do not be diverted from the goal by the manefestations of appearances as circumstances. You are a part of the Eternal, and partake of the Perfection of Life. Within you exist all of the Laws of Creation. Your part is to use your human Imagination to express the creative possibilities.

We can be said to exist on four planes simultaneously. Development comes along on these four planes, the Physical, the Astral, the Mental, and the Spiritual. Things work out best when we proceed along each of these planes simultaneously. Religions offer beliefs, doctrines, and dogma. Spirituality offers experience, knowledge & wisdom. Seeking externally, people go to religion. Seeking internally, people go to Spirituality. Spiritual people find the Power within themselves, and have no need to oppress anyone. Those who do not know this, must steal from others, to fill a void that can never be satisfied. A fool thinks only of the pleasures of the moment. The wise comtemplate both the far past & the far future, and thereby see what is of real value.

The most valuable thing in the world, and also, the most elusive, is the Balance Point. It lies between not seeing what is right in front of you, and seeing things that really are not there. To find this Clear Light, you must learn to rely, only upon yourself, and the Infinite resources within you. There is a great & wonderful power within you, capable of attaining any worthy goal. Learning the Divine Laws by which the Universe operates, learning how to live in harmony with them, and how to operate them, is a great task, but it is the Key to attaining anything which is worth having. When you desire something, you must put forth the effort needed to make it happen. Getting to know the Divine within yourself, and also within everything else, is it own reward. And it is a great reward of Serenity, Compassion, Knowledge, Wisdom, & Joy. These are the things for which you should pray.

It is not about the words we use. It is about our conduct, and how much we understand. On the Astral plane, everything is a symbol. Contemplate the symbols, until you see their meanings. Then the symbols vanish, and you can experience the meanings directly, and comprehend the Essences. Never underestimate the power of imagination. When the power of imagination is released, Magickal things become possible. Your consciousness is creative, gravitating conditions into your life according to Divine Laws.

The mind likes to be in control. It likes to fill itself with all kinds of thoughts, going around & around. When you meditate, you still the mind. In meditation you deliberately ignore the flow of thought. Your consciousness takes control of the mind for a change, and you can bet that the mind will not like this. That is why in meditation the mind will try to distract you anyway that it can. The thing is, that once your consciousness takes over control from the mind, your mind will become the efficient, logical tool that it was meant to be.

The attainment of True Wisdom burns away bad Karma, eliminating the need for one to go through the experience. If bad Karma can be burned away, how is this done? By learning to live in harmony with the Divine, one can recieve insight into Life, and see how to Live. True Wisdom is the Insight that reveals all the secrets, and how to become a channel through which blessings flow. Let the blessings of Love & Kindness, & Knowlege flow through you. Be aware. Pay Attention. Do what Love demands of you. In these ways will you step outside the Wheel of Karma.

There is this notion, that carries a Great Truth, that none of our ideas or beliefs really amount to much, except that we give our POWER to them through our acceptance of them. Our acceptance of beliefs into our consciousness, as realities, gives them power over us. Karma is not the only Law of Nature. There are six others, & each is just as powerful as any of the rest. Consider the 6th Law, the Law of Gravitation, (see my article on Metaphysics). You gravitate conditions into your physical life, that are in harmony with your idea of what you deserve. Thus, you have an opportunity here, you may change your attitude about your life, & just what you deserve from life.

You may choose that you deserve health, knowledge, wisdom & love. And those things will come to you, as you you earn them, through being a healer, obtaining knowledge, sharing of your knowledge while you accumulate more, and being real to people, without ulterior motives. Life follows the activity of the mind. Where the mind leads, there follows the pattern of your life. Memory is a good thing, if you use it as a source of information. But if you spend more time dwelling upon the past, rather than in planning for the future, where will your life go?

This reminds me of the story about a philosophy professor. He came to class with a gallon jar, and filled it with big rocks. "Is it full?", he asked the class. The students agreed. Then he sifted in a bunch of pebbles that fit in around the big rocks. "Is it full?", he asked again. The students agreed. Then the professor poured in a lot of sand until the jar was full. "The jar is your life. The big rocks are the most important things in life. The pebbles are important, too, but not as much. The sand is all the trivial stuff. When you are filling the jar of your life, put in the big rocks first, then the pebbles, and finally the sand. If you put in the sand first, then your life will have no room for anything important."

It is the Law of Gravitation. When you accept a thought or belief, you attach yourself to it, and everything that is connected to it. You then resonate on the vibration of that thought, and your subjective mind puts those vibrations out into the Universe. Conditions & situations that are like your worldview become attuned to you, and they begin to happen around you. "And the thing he feared came upon him..." A person who is afraid of, say, car accidents, is much more likely to do something that will get them into a car accident. But someone who drives confidently, and pays attention to what is going on around them, will find a way out, should danger arise.

Negative thinking clouds the mind, & impairs reason. Positive thinking clears the mind, & makes it sharp. If you have the expectation that good things will happen to you, then you will see many opportunities, as they come up. BUT a negative thinker will pass by these opportunities as if they were not there, because their internal inharmony, blinds them to the possibility. "As a man thinketh, so is he".

If you think something is impossible, then you make it a fact in your life. BUT, if you think something is possible, then it is merely a matter of figuring out just how you will do it, to make it a fact. Realizing that the Divine exists within you, makes it possible for you to untie the knots of bad Karma that bind you. When you release your attachment to a negative condition, a Hidden Agenda, then it can no longer hold any power over you, & soon, it will disappear. This is the Magick beyond spells, and you have always held this power within you, because God lives within us, and we live within God. So Mote It Be!!

Human languages were developed, so that people could discuss their surroundings, and activities. They are very much oriented toward dealing with the material world. So it is extremely difficult to speak of non-physical phenomena with language. The most ancient writings of a Spiritual nature used symbolic language. The problem with that, is that unless one knows what the symbols represent, one can only guess at their meaning. Careful Initiation into the Mysteries, and the discovery of your inner connection to the Divine is required, to understand them. Now our languages have evolved considerably with our comprehension of the physical laws of the Universe, and much that was once hidden can now be revealed in relatively plainer language. However, one still must realise that the principles only have meaning when made into realities expressed in your character & life. They are not merely ideas. They are the Archetypes that structure Life.

Completing the circuit is the real Magick trick. You have to make the connection between the positive source & the negative ground. When the circuit is complete, then the power flows, & things happen. With intuition you have to recognize it, & make use of it, to complete the circuit. If you do not heed your intuition, you will have turned the switch off, and you will stop getting flashes of intuition. But if you heed your true Inner Voice, then it will speak to you always, becoming an active part of who you are. If you are on the Path, then you can never be alone, because the whole Universe is within you, & without you....

You know how, when a plane just breaks Mach1, it creates a sonic boom? All this pressure & turbulence builds up, and at the speed of sound, there is the boom, and then the plane moving faster than sound, bypasses all of that as things adjust to its movement for smooth sailing. I think that the time period before a Spiritual or Magickal breakthrough, the same thing occurs. You do almost everything you can think of to get things going the way you want to on a major project, & BOOM.... it all falls apart. When this happens repeatedly, it is because there is a principle you have been missing, that is the key to completion.

Most people know about the Law of Karma, and tend to relate everything to it, but it is not the whole picture. There are seven of these Cosmic Laws, and the results you get in life are directly related to your knowing how to apply them (see my article on Metaphysics). One Law in particular is very important, when dealing with repetitive karmic situations. This is the Law of Gravity. It is a law of attunement. Things that vibrate on the same frequency, are drawn together. What you believe in your inmost Heart about yourself, has tremendous power to gravitate situations similar to your beliefs into your life.

You can organize the best plans, carefully lay out the groundwork, do all of the necissary background research, and put out your whole effort, and still fail. The key to using the Law of Gravity, is to change your attitude about yourself, & what you deserve out of life. Absolute faith in yourself, in your abilities, talents, etc is essential. If you do not believe that you deserve success, then the Universe will not give it to you. If you believe that you are one who can do a great job, but will still be ignored, then that is what you will get. After all the work you have done to learn & apply this knowledge, your own self-image is the only thing that can hold it all back. So you need to develop your faith in yourself, based upon the preparation you have done, and see yourself as a person who is worthy & deserving of all that Life has to offer. BOOM!!

It is mind over matter in all cases. This material universe is an illusion created by consciousness through the Cosmic Laws. All of us are co-creators of the world we live in. When you consider the wide spectrum of Spiritual development of people on Earth, all of their varying belief systems, and the ways they use or mis-use the Cosmic Laws in the conduct of their lives, then this crazy world, actually makes some sense. On the Macrocosmic level, Karma functions exactly as we are taught in all of the Traditions. BUT, on the Microcosmic level, Karma manefests as Chaos, randomness, the uncertainty principle. So depending upon the plane of your perspective, everything happens for a reason, or nothing does. Both possobilities are simultaneous, and neither is mutually exclusive.

I know that the brain manufactures chemicals that are physical analogues of our emotions & moods. These chemicals break down after awhile, but while they are in our system, they do influence us. So you may have gotten yourself into a chemical feedback loop. You are depressed, so your brain manufactures depressing chemicals, which make you feel depressed, etc etc. We know that you can break this chain, because you are asking these questions. Now comes the hard part. Magick is largely the force of will, powered by desire & vision. What you need to do, is to replace the negative thinking with positive thinking. Every time a negative thought enters your mind, you must refuse it, and replace it with a positive thought of harmony or creativity. These positive thoughts will cause the brain to manufacture chemicals corresponding with them. Gradually, the chemicals associated with depression will be pushed out of the system, and be replaced with chemicals of harmony & peace.

Doreal, (founder of the Brotherhood of the White Temple, http://bwtemple.org), said that if a person could spend 24 hours without a single negative thought, that their health would return to the natural state of perfection, and that they would be so clear-minded that they would be able to figure out a solution for any problem that they had to deal with. OK. So that's a little bit tough. People love their negative thoughts, and are very attached to them. And it is very difficult to divorce yourself from something that you love, even when it is killing you. But if you can go for 12 hours a day with no negative thoughts for three days in a row, that should work just as well. Or even 8 hours a day with no negative thoughts for 5 days in a row. The thing is, you need to develop a new mental habit. Refuse the negativity whenever it crops up, and replace it with positivity. Over time, this will become easier, & easier, as the new mental habit becomes entrenched.

What people call normal is an illusion. Is it normal to believe things that are not true? Is it normal to behave in ways that are destructive to yourself & the world around you? Is it normal to live in ignorance? Is it normal to sabotage yourself with negative attitudes? Is it normal to desire harm to people who are different from you? Yet so-called normal people do these things all the time. What people call normal is an illusion. Remember where Socrates said, "The unexamined life is not worth living" ? Does somebody who has never questioned anything, or put out any effort to improve themselves or the world around them, really amount to much? You are only responsible for dealing with your own Karma, BUT you will also get Karma to deal with, from people who have attached themselves to you. Making choises is a difficult process, but with experience, you will begin to see the patterns & their results. It is an excellent Guide. And remember : No one has ever attained Enlightenment without first developing a sense of humor.

If you think that Spirituality with one foot on the ground works well, then wait until you try it with BOTH feet on the ground, your body in the clouds, & your head in Heaven (Qaballistic reference). The completed circuit gives you the perspective to see things as they are, from the whole gamut of perspectives, forcing an alignment of the entire spectrum, & revealing the Truth.

The Law of Motion states that once an object has been put into motion, that it will continue its trajectory unabated forever, unless another force is brought to bear upon it, either changing its motion, or vibration. That's the physical law, but it is also a Cosmic Law, and operates on all planes. A boulder of depression rolling down a hill, is not an easy thing to stop. It requires an equal amount of force moving in the opposite direction to bring it to a halt. A supreme act of Will could do it immediately, but developing a habit of positivity, will gradually slow it down, stop it, & reverse direction.

That is why there are so many different Spiritual techniques out there. You just have to find the ones that work for you. Meditation works for everybody, but it is a slow process. Some people chant mantra, others do Yoga. Nature walks, & hiking rejuvenate many people. There is power in music & dance, and also color therapy. Incense sets a mood of holiness. When the body is out of sorts, the mind doesn't do very well either. A reflexology treatment can remove a lot of tension, and make all of the rest of this much easier. Often people find gardening brings them closer to the Earth. Many kinds of exercise bring people a "high", which carries over into the rest of their life. There are lots of options.

With Karma it works like this. Whenever you do anything in thought, word, or deed, you set up a cause that will return to you as an effect. This cause will alter things around you, and that will also return to you, as a secondary effect. Finally, your motion through the Universe, your activities on all planes of existance, ripple out through the Macrocosm, creating a cascade affecting many things you probably will not be aware of, and this, too, will return to you. I think this is why in Paganism, that they speak of the Law of Three. It is also an excellent reason for cultivating a state of serenity & tranquility, as best you can. Who in their right mind, would want to spend Eternity dealing with a lot of crap? A simple act of kindness, not only helps someone out, but it also puts out a vibe in the aethers, which makes it easier for other people to do the same. Yes, there most certainly is a ripple effect.

Unreasoning & compulsive hatred will eat away your soul, especially when it revolves around the hatred of a group of people based on race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, economic class or national origin. Greed for money as an end in itself, or even worse, greed for power over other people, will consume your soul. And finally, the Dark Side, that malevolent manefestation of the lowest end of the Spiritual spectrum, which inspires destruction, genocide, oppression, and all kinds of fanaticism, is the Eater of Souls.

The Cosmic Laws work equally well for all living things, and it doesn't matter whether people know about them or not to stir them into motion. With people who are very unenlightened, the results are quite chaotic. Negative thinking & action leads to illness, and all sorts of inharmonies. Positive thinking & action leads to health & wider opportunities. So it all comes down to what you know, & how you apply it.

Nothing in this world or on any other plane can ever harm you, unless you have created within yourself a condition that allows it to. In Buddhism there is no force in the universe that is a personification of evil. Buddhists believe that the only evil in the world, is the evil that we harbor within ourselves. In the Buddhist Mandala of the Wheel of Life, there are three animals painted in the center, who are said to keep the Wheel of Illusion going around & around. They are a greedy pig, a strutting cock, and a snake in the grass. They symbolize the lowest of mundane desires : greedy, pride & treachery.

Love is Universal, and a power few completely comprehend. Most people on the Path concentrate on studying the theory & practices & history. This is necessary, but the most important work, is not involved in what we learn, as it is in what we un-learn. All the negativity, illusions, & unworthy desires, that the world dumps into our minds as we grow up, must be rooted out & gotten rid of, before we can make any real progress on the Path. In Buddhism it is taught that the ego is an illusion, and that this world also is illusion. In Western Occult teachings they speak of the lower self, and the Real Self. Overcoming the illusions of the lower self, the ego, allows one to realize the higher Self, ones true identity in the Divine.

That matter is not truly solid, that it is composed of space & fields of energy, is a clear indication that the entire physical Universe is nothing more than an illusion created by Mind. The material world appears solid, but this is an illusion. At the molecular level all separations dissolve into space & fields of energy. In Buddhism, the ego (or lower self), is also considered to be an illusion. All of the aggregates of personality are seen merely to be habits of thinking, with no more substance than matter at the molecular level. The belief in the reality of appearances is what binds us to the cycle of birth & death, and the world of suffering. By divesting yourself of all these false beliefs, one can realize their true identity in the Divine, and know that All is One.

Nothing harmful can affect you, unless you have created a condition in your mind for it to attach itself to you. Altering your perspective on things, changes your vibration, & then the condition cannot attach itself to you. Reality is fluid, and responds to what we put out by the ways in which we think. When people become rigid in their thinking, they bind themselves to conditions, & cannot see a way out of their suffering. Understanding how this process works is the Key by which you can learn to create the conditions of your desires.

The Universe will give you anything you want, but first the Universe looks into your Heart to see what is there. If you attach yourself to turmoil & trouble, then the Universe will give you that. If you attach yourself to peace & serenity, then the Universe will give you that, instead. Force creates resistance. Like a bar of soap in a bathtub, life will be content to rest in your hand, but once you squeeze it really hard, then it will slip away. Grasping AT things, drives them away from you. People do this because of their need to feel that they are in control, when they are not. By learning to control yourself, & understanding the reasons for your motivations, you relax into the flow of life, and gain the ability to steer your own course. Exerting power externally, shows that you lack power & insight internally.

Do not try to effect changes in the outer world, at a time when your inner world is in distress. How could that work? Magick is an act of will, but it must come from a mind that is clear & serene. The conditions that you find occuring in your life, are reflections of your most deeply held attitudes & beliefs. Attach yourself to thoughts of harmony, peace, kindness, strength, wisdom, knowledge & compassion, and these things will find a way to manefest around you in the world. Make the effort to do the inner work, and the external things will take care of themselves. That is the true power of Magick.

Harboring negative thoughts & feelings within yourself, will throw you out of balance. Holding false concepts about Life, will cloud your vision. People dwell so much upon negative things, that it will take all of the meditation & Spiritual Practices that you can do, to break the habit. Allowing the emotions to rule your life, will lead you to be irrational. Letting your intellect to dominate, will make you rigid. Neither of these is balance. Balance is a state of harmony, that gives you a clear perspective on what is important in Life.

Much of human suffering comes from identifying & defining ourselves with external things. All external things are subject to change. They have beginnings & endings. Attachments based upon things which are impermanent, can only lead to suffering. What good can come from defining yourself on the basis of a relationship, a job, status, or things acquired? When things get really complicated, then it is time to make them simple. If you are being pulled in many directions at once, then you need to be at your center. Having a strong center of calm is the Key to gaining control over your life. When you are in your center of calm, then all of the craziness of the world falls into perspective. Things that really aren't important, lose their power to command your attention. The center of calm that you will develop from contemplation & meditation, will enable you to concentrate your efforts on the things that do matter, and from this your life will sort itself out towards what it ought to be.

There are several different sorts of teachers. There are teachers who claim to be Enlightened Gurus, but who are actually only good at manipulating people to satisfy their personal desires, and relieve people of the "burdens of their material possessions". Beware these people. Next you can take Life itself as your Teacher, seeing everything that happens to you, & everyone you meet, to be the conveyor of a Divine message. This is a good teacher, but it may happen that you will not understand the lesson you are being presented with. Then there are the Teachers who have acquired great Knowledge & Wisdom in one or more areas, & who are totally sincere & kind. A few of these are Illuminated Adepts, but most are Initiates of the Mysteries, not quite Enlightened, but close enough. These you should treat as friends. And finally, there is the Teacher within yourself. Your Real Self, is always with you, but is also the hardest to find.

Each of us is an expression of the Great I AM, which is God. All of the Glory, Wisdom, Serenity, Compassion, & Power of the Universe, exists as a potentiality within us, and our job on the Path, is to make this possibility, a Reality, which we manefest in the conduct of our lives. Never refer to yourself as i, because that is to deny the Divinity which exists within all of us, if we would just be willing to see IT. Many times I have been told by Illuminated Adepts, that in any moment, it is possible to realize & manefest Enlightenment.

As you continue making progress on the Path, you will start having more experiences on the higher planes. You may know things, that you cannot account for knowing, get vibes from people, objects, & places. You may travel on the higher planes, having experiences on the Astral Plane or higher. You may become more & more aware of who you have been in the past. All of these things are gifts, and in time, you will view them as normal facets of your life. The purpose of devotional literature, is to raise the Mind above the mundane world, & plant it firmly in the Spiritual Realm. Allowing your mind to focus on fear, guilt, & anxiety creates an unhealthy environment both inside & outside. Some books that will lift your Spirit would be The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran, Metaphysical Meditations by Paramahansa Yogananda ( a renowned veggie Yoga Master), The Impersonal Life (published by DeVoss), or The Secret of the Ages by Robert Collier, but I'm sure it is long out of print, having been self-published in 1926. All I am doing, is making clear what you already know in your Heart. When you see these truths in your own Heart, then you bridge the gap between your self, & your Real Self, and what is truly Divine in the Universe can express itself through you.

Quotations Of The Late Terrence McKenna

"It seems to me that it [Nature] is psyche in a way that has become occluded by the perverse development of language."

"Standing outside the cultural hysteria the trend is fairly clear. It is a trend toward temporal compression and the emergence of ambiguity."

"Nature is actually the goal at the end of history."

"Hallucinogenic plants act as enzymes which stimulate imagination."

"And what we’re looking toward is a moment when the artificial language structures which bind us within the notion of ourselves are dissolved in the presence of the realization that we are a part of nature. And when that happens, the childhood of our species will pass away, and we will stand tremulously on the brink of really the first moment of coherent human civilization."

"We are an intelligent species caught in an historical process. No generation which proceeded us knew what was going on, and there is no reason to assume that we know what’s going on or that the generation which follows us will know what’s going on. And what kind of trip is it anyway to insist on knowing what’s going on?"

"It’s no big deal about how you get language to evolve. You cause language to evolve by saying new and intelligent things to each other."

"Psychedelics are illegal not because a loving government is concerned that you may jump out of a third story window. Psychedelics are illegal because they dissolve opinion structures and culturally laid down models of behavior and information processing. They open you up to the possibility that everything you know is wrong."

"Only responsible human beings can exist in an anarchistic society."

The Symbolism Behind Christmas

"What are the origins of the Christmas traditions? Most people never think to ask this question. Those that do, find a seemingly complete dogmatic system of explanation. Then, of course, one day there is that discovery that Santa Claus does not really exist. But... Does he? Many things have been written in an attempt to trace Christmas' development. You can find people who consider themselves experts in this field, and even books on this subject. I suppose you could call the field "Santa-ology", or perhaps even "Santa-ism". Yet, long lost, deeply underlying the realms of simple tradition, are very amazing symbolic connections and origins that are either long- forgotten or were/are intentionally overlooked. The basic philosophy behind Christmas is; if you are good you will receive a present under the tree, if you are bad then you receive no present. In some cultures those who are bad even receive punishment delivered by various means and personages. This is a very simple philosophical system. Santa Claus is an all-knowing icon that reads the hearts and intentions of everyone on the planet. Each child is told the story of the round-man (who wears red and white) and his associates; reindeer, little people and Mrs. Claus. They are also told the story of a miraculous worldwide flight in a sleigh which results in presents being delivered under a tree. Yet when a child reaches the age of reasoning he is informed that this story is all a fabrication. This revelation is devastating upon the psyche of a young mind. It is also at this time that the child is often comforted, and pacified from the shock, by very strong reinforcement that the religious system which the parents or guardians profess are indeed factual. And an attempt is made to incorporate the respective religious traditions into the holiday as the REAL meaning for the celebration. There is an alternative to this cultural conditioning and shock-relief system of indoctrinations, into the realities of life, which is based upon truth and is much more interesting than even the simple traditional understandings of Christmas themselves. The key to this alternative is encoded within the icons and symbols of Christmas. To know the meanings behind the symbolism to which most people only attach dogmatic explanations, is to open the doorway to understanding the very roots of many other religions as well. Several books have been written about the Amanita muscaria mushroom. This mushroom is found growing all over the world under Pine (& other coniferous trees), Birch, and sometimes Oak. The Pine tree is one of the well-known central relics of Christmas. Under this tree is where those who are deemed good find their reward in the form of a present. A big red and white rounded mushroom grows under the very tree we are to look under on Christmas morning to find our gift. If we can find that this present does indeed exist. If we can find that reindeer are thought to be able to fly for a very good reason, and we can show that traditionally they carry people spiritually through the air in a way that defies the laws of time. And further, if we can show that the philosophical idiom "be good not bad" is really the universal truth, would we have sufficient basis for discarding the established religious dogmas which traditionally replace the Christmas tale, and instead simply expand the story to reveal the more esoteric principles upon which it is based?

It is my assertion that the traditional day of reckoning wherein it is revealed; Santa Claus is not real, Reindeer do not fly, there is no present under the tree (unless placed there by a deceiver), is a dis-information campaign geared towards conditioning the young mind to be unable to comprehend the information which is presented herein. I also assert that the devastating blow of the destruction of a belief, and the associated reinforcement of "Christianity" (or other religious system) is psychologically designed to support the replacement information which is given as a comforting foundation during a time of shock and crisis, and is explained as something that will never be revealed as false (like Santa and all that fantasy).

It is also my conclusion that this event subliminally plays an important role for religious systems that wish to suppress the expansion of consciousness through fear of the unknown. The psyche is scarred deeply when it is forced to deal with realizing it has accepted a falsehood as truth. And when it deals with plants and things found under trees, subliminally, one armors oneself against these concepts. There develops an unconscious fear of falling into the same trap. Of course this is also pacified through replacing the meaning of things like the pine tree. Interestingly, in some traditions the Pineal gland is thought to be the seat of the human soul. It is shaped exactly like a pinecone (hence the name Pine-al). Apparently, it is also an autonomous part of the brain, resting in the dead center, not attached to any other part of the brain; sort of a floating pinecone in the center of the human brain. Perhaps we have a lot more in common with the Pine tree than we thought. This gland, and its endogenous secretions, as well as other relevant implications, will be further discussed in a later section. But it is interesting to note; due to cultural phenomenon, the pineal gland atrophies during youth, which corresponds to this timely day of reckoning, and even begins to calcify during puberty. This atrophy/calcification causes a reduction of Pineal endogenous secretions.

The Santa Claus and Christmas traditions of today have metamorphosed out of many older mythologies. The icons, symbols, and relics that have managed to survive from the "Winter Solstice" celebrations of old, have a commonality that deserves some reflection, study, and perhaps even some reverence. Understanding that these traditions are borrowed ones, is central to getting at the heart of the true meaning of Christmas.

Today's Santa Claus is a metamorphosis of many older mythologies, including Thor or Donner (German Donar) who wears red and rides in a Golden Flying Chariot pulled by two Goats (Cracker and Gnasher). In a sense, these goats were the ancestors to the now popular reindeer.

Christmas is commonly thought of as a Christian holiday (the birth of Jesus). Many Christian beliefs and traditions were borrowed from more ancient religions and mythologies. This is well documented by authors such as Gerald Massey, Godfrey Higgins, Robert Graves, Kersey Graves and many others. The virgin birth, the incarnation of God, the sacrament, Christmas, Easter, etc. have all been adopted/stolen by Christianity as its own.

It is well documented by fundamentalists (apologists) that the Christmas traditions are Pagan in origin.. This simply means that their origin comes from the traditions of the country-folk (pagan). By contrast, the Pagan origins of most of the other attributes of Christianity are vigorously denied. It is also very easy to obscure, overlook and discredit the Egyptian, Mithraic, Germanic, Norse, Celtic, Greek, Hindu and Buddhist roots by lumping all non-Christian religions together and labeling them Pagan. These are certainly not simple country-folk religions. So to just say Christmas has Pagan roots, and not go further, is glossing over what exactly those roots are, and discrediting their study as worthless. Christmas icons, traditions and stories have hidden meanings. Although not initially apparent, a more thorough investigation reveals far more symbolic content (which is decipherable) than originally suspected. At the roots of this symbolism research is information about the secrets of the mushroom, regarding its habitats, forms, uses, preparations, and effects.

Shaman of Siberia and the Russian icon, St. Nicholas, both play parts in the tale of Christmas, providing clues as to where Christmas came from and why there are certain symbols associated with the holiday. It is these types of clues that will help (the questors) in the deciphering of the symbols. Siberian Shaman used/use (despite governmental oppression) the Amanita muscaria mushroom as a religious sacrament. It is used for spiritual vision, out-of-body travel into the realms of the spirits, and as a plant-spirit guide in teaching and healing. The value of the inebriant is placed highly among the commodities of the native tribesmen, fetching reindeer pelts, meats, and all manner of tradable goods in payment and barter. Interesting to note: If you aren't quick enough in the hunt, you will find only the mushroom stubs, the rest greedily gobbled up by the hungry reindeer.

So, why do people bring Pine trees into their houses at the Winter Solstice, placing brightly colored (Red and White) packages under their boughs, as gifts to show their love for each other and as representations of the love of God and the gift of his Sons life?

It is because, underneath the Pine bough is the exact location where one would find this "Most Sacred" Substance, the Amanita muscaria mushroom, in the wild (in Nature). These mushrooms grow in a symbiotic/mycorrhizal relationship with the Pine tree, which means they always grow underneath it. The symbolic placing of gifts under the tree at Christmas is a sort of proxy-present-giving action, whereby the celebrants ritually mimic the work of God/Santa/Nature, by placing under the tree a gift (actually The gift). Big clue here: Winter brings rain; rain brings mushrooms, In the mountains, at Christmas time, under the Pine trees. Then and there will you find that which unlocks the key mysteries of the Universe, through a multi-dimensionalizing of the consciousness in a way that no other known substance can. This Gnosis (joining together of your mind with the mind of the Universal Consciousness) is what the Sages,
Mystics, Teachers, and Prophets were attempting to communicate through their rampant symbolism. (Had they not feared persecution, they may have spoken of it openly and directly in public documents.)

All over the world, people bring Coniferous trees into their houses and place brightly colored packages underneath them. In Nature, this is where you will find the Amanita muscaria (under coniferous trees). The actual mushroom "plant" is the underground "mycelium" or "mycorrhizae", which is directly attached to the tree roots; the mushroom itself is only the fruit-body of the mycelium. The mushroom is literally the Fruit of the Tree. They grow in a mycorrhizal (not parasitic) relationship with the tree. Many people follow the tradition/custom of bringing a tree into the home and putting presents under it, yet have absolutely no idea why. Even people that think they know, usually have no knowledge of these mushroom connections. The true symbolic meaning transcends dogmatic etymological and historical evidence, by revealing itself in the totally obvious iconography and historically associated myths and traditions.

1. Saint Nicholas is the patron Saint of children in Siberia (Russia), a supplanter to the indigenous Shaman.

2. The Amanita muscaria mushrooms grow nearly exclusively under the Christmas (Coniferous) Trees (Birch also [another whole story]).

3. The Reindeer eat these mushrooms, hence the presumed flight.

4. Santa brings presents in his white bag/sack. Mushrooms are gathered in bags, and Amanita muscaria sprouts out of a white vulvae sack.

5. The mushrooms are red and white and grow under a green tree. Christmas colors are red, white and green.

6. Typically, the red and white mushrooms are dried by stringing them on the hearth of the fireplace. Christmas stockings are red and white, hung in the same way, and shaped similar.

7. The Virgin Birth is symbolic for the "seedless" growth/germination pattern of the mushroom. To the ancient mind, with no microscope to see the spores, it's appearance was thought to be miraculous.

8. The very name, "Christmas" is a holiday name composed of the words, "Christ" (meaning "one who is anointed with the Magical Substance") and "Mass" (a special religious
service/ceremony of the sacramental ingestion of the Eucharist, the "Body of Christ"). In the Catholic tradition, this substance (Body/Soma) has been replaced by the doctrine of "Trans-substantiation", whereby in a magical ceremony the Priests claim the ability to transform a "cracker/round-wafer" into the literal "Body of Christ"; ie, a substitute or placebo.

Saint Nicholas, known as the "Patron Saint of Children" (among other things), is the most revered saint in Russia, second only to the apostles. He is the Russian Orthodox Church's supplanter to the native people's highly respected local Shaman. A Shaman is a holy man that is well acquainted with a form of spirituality that incorporates plant entheogens which facilitate the NDE (Near Death Experience), or "out of body" experience. Saint Nicholas may not have been a shaman, yet the symbolism on, and coloring of his robes could lend to speculation. The equilateral-circumscribed-cross is an ancient symbol for Christianity and the Holy Grail, it is also another mushroom symbol.

The ancient shamanic use of Amanita muscaria in Siberia is well documented. Despite governmental oppression against its use, there are still many who refuse to accept the authorized state religion, and continue the shamanic traditions in secret. Just as the Siberian shaman (commonly dressing in red and white) would enter through the opening in the roof of a home where a ritual was to be done, Santa Claus also arrives on the roof and enters through the chimney. Just as the shamans would gather the mushrooms in bags which they would bring with them when performing a ceremony, Santa Claus also (on the Holy Day) brings presents in a bag. The Santa Claus we see today evolved from traditions developed in Germany. It is fairly common knowledge that the Weihnachtsmann (St. Nick) was an amalgamation of older Germanic/Norse gods such as Thor, Donner, Odin and Wotan. What's missing here is just as Santa flies through the skies in his sleigh, Odin (as well as the rest) rode through the sky in his chariot, which is depicted in the stars by "The Big Dipper". The Big Dipper is the chariot of Odin & Wotan, Thor, King Arthur, and even Osiris (of Egypt). The chariot that circles the North Star in a 24 hour period is thus also known as the sleigh of Santa Claus because it circles his mythological home, the North Pole. It is no surprise that Nordic/Germanic gods have connection to mushrooms in their mythology. As Thor throws his mushroom-shaped hammer to the ground, mighty thunders and lightning cracks cause the real mushroom(s) to appear. As the horses pulling Odin through the sky in his chariot
become over-exerted, their blood-mingled spit falls to the ground and causes the Amanita mushrooms to grow at those exact points. The Osiris mythology has even more to add to this. To the Egyptians; South was up (North). Osiris was the lord of the underworld, the South, (South=down) which is why he circles the sky in the furthest possible lower (southern) area. Not only did Osiris ride the sky in a chariot, but after his death Isis found that an evergreen (Cedar) had grown overnight from a dead stump to full-sized (this also relates to the Djed pillar); which was understood as a sign of Osiris' rebirth and immortality. Interestingly, the traditional birth of Osiris is the 25th of December. The 25th of December was also celebrated annually by putting presents around the Cedar tree. This tradition is at least five thousand years old. The birth of Horus to the goddess-virgin-mother, Isis, is perhaps the eldest representation of the goddess/son mythology, yet it is impossible to know this or the real age of the Astro-theological-Virgo-giving-birth-to-the-child/god/star mythology for sure. However it is the oldest source I have found; it is very old.

Drying the mushrooms was/is a necessary procedure typically accomplished by stringing them up (like popcorn) and hanging them above the hearth of the fireplace. shamans and lay people alike, would gather and dry them. They gather all they can since they are a valuable commodity. Reindeer (native to Siberia) are known to be quite fond of eating these mushrooms. The mythology of flying Reindeer reflects the supposed pharmacological effects of such a meal.

This place setting and service was contributed by a very Laurence Stickney, he has been always an inspiration to me. It is certainly a real fine example of what a truly enlightened Christmas meal is all about. You don't have to read very far into this symbolism to realize what the table is saying about dinner. The idea of a "Sacred Meal" is incorporated into many ancient traditions that also celebrated the birth of the God on December 25th. The Sun, as it reaches the winter Solstice, ends its course across the heavens and appears to stop for 3 days, then it begins anew its trek across the heavens towards the Northern hemisphere. This 3 day "stoppage" was mythologized as the death of the Sun of God on the cross of the celestial 4 points, and after the 3 day waiting period as it began another precession across the sky, it was thought to return to life. Later mythologies transfer the death on the cross to a hanging on wood, and the 3 day death to the Son (Sun) being locked inside a tomb. The fact that the mushrooms must be dried before consumption is another euphemism of the god needing to die, or sacrifice himself, to save mankind through atonement (at-one-ment). This is only the beginning: only a few of the associations between this mushroom and Christmas traditions; there are more. Here are some synonymous names and/or terminologies given to this mushroom throughout history, many of which we will be exploring further. In fact, there are so many that expounding upon them could take a lifetime, therefore, obviously, this list is not all-inclusive. The Egyptian term; "the God of a thousand names" begins to make sense as this research begins to encompass so many other traditions, mythologies and religions.

9. SOMA (Hindu plant-god). Soma is also Greek for "body".

10. Amrita (Buddhist Magical Sacrament).

11. Ambrosia (Greek, "Food of the Gods").

12. The Holy Grail (note the Grail-like shape of the upturned muscaria mushroom; "Vessel containing the blood of the God").

13. Fruit of the Tree of life: Fruit of the Tree = the mushroom; the main body (mycellium) growing underground in a

14. Symbiotic relationship with the Pine tree.

15. The Golden Fleece

16. The Fountain of Youth: Ponce De' Leon is likely to have unknowingly kicked over the very thing for
which he was searching; the red muscaria grows under Longleaf Pine in northern Florida in December.

17. Haoma: Islamic Sacrament.

18. Manna: There are two kinds in the Bible; see John ch. 6 to 14. Manna means "mushroom".

19. Bread of Life: Yes, it's the "Loaf of Bliss".

20. Fountain of Living Waters: Its alive, 90% water, and shaped like a fountain.

21. Hidden Manna: See Rev. 2:17

26. The Fruit of the Tree of Knowledge/Life.

27. The Flesh of Jesus, and other Gods (Take and eat. This is my "body" [Greek, "SOMA"]).

28. The Hammer of Thor: The shape is obvious. Thor throws his mushroom-shaped hammer to the ground in a bolt of lightning and a mighty thunderous CRACK. Lightning is the mythical creator of the
mushroom.

29. The Small White Stone: The infant state of the mushroom resembles a small white stone.

30. The Elixir of Immortality: The churning-of-the-milky-ocean myth describes this in a phenomenal way.

31. The Feathered Serpent: From its first egg-state to its snake-looking second state, then shedding its universal veil (shedding its skin) and finally upturning its cap (gills resembling feathers). The feathered serpent is cosmopolitan in its symbology.

32. The Phoenix: From the ashes (spores) the egg appears. Then comes the upturned cap resembling a gold and red colored bird (the gills as feathers). Then the heat (sun) burns the mushroom and it dissolves, once again leaving only ashes (spores), and finally repeating the whole cycle.

33. Ankh: Waters and life, or the waters of life in Egypt.

34. Rudra: The Hindu red god of the forest.

35. Djed: The phallus or pillar of Osiris.

36. The One Eyed Howler: The round eye shape which represents the vision of the universe.

37. The Eye of Horus: (Djed-Eye) Sound familiar?

38. The World Tree: The mushroom is thought to be the creator of the world, in many cultures.

39. Celestial Food: The food of the Gods in the Egyptian "Book of the dead".

40. Aten: The Egyptian winged-disc.

41. Fly Agaric: Although "Fly" is commonly thought of in association with the "House-fly", there is also evidence that it refers to the act of "flying", as in taking spiritual flight.

Many times these representations are used severally in one depiction."

Qigong & The Reptile Brain

"The region of the reptile brain (brainstem) is one of the most important areas for Qigong and Dim-mak. In Qigong it is used to help us to go into the reptile brain where we are in survival or reflex mode allowing the body heal itself or to help us to heal others. There is a good rule as to whether or not you are doing your Qigong correctly and it has to do with the Reptile Brain. When we are taught the basic standing Qigong, we usually begin by getting used to all of the new physical things that we are faced with and are feeling. Like the shakes that accompany the stances. Once over this area and we are faced with a mild vibration which is quite pleasant, we feel the Qi ‘lifting up’ the back and being activated at the points known as GB 20 (gallbladder points No. 20) just below the base of the skull. We feel something lifting up and ending at these points, like a sensation. Everyone’s sensation is different so it is difficult for me to tell you what to feel, better for you to feel it yourself. But be warned, you MUST do Qigong correctly and that means that every tiny peripheral is in its correct place, the weight is placed exactly in the correct place, the head is held exactly correctly, the breathing is being performed exactly and so on. I recently heard from a chap who had been doing so-called Qigong with some ‘master’. He complained that he felt ill after every session and his mind was scattered afterwards. So I sent him my Basic Qigong tape so that he could see exactly what he was doing wrong. He discovered that just about everything he was doing was wrong and thus having a detrimental effect rather than a healing effect! The worst thing that most people do when learning Qigong is to place the weight over the balls of their feet right onto Kidney One point. This is the most damaging thing that one can do as it causes ‘adverse cyclic Qi’ to be generated which can damage the reptile brain! Not many ‘masters’ realize that KD 1 point is NOT the activation point for KD 1 but rather that it is the area of the heels that activates KD 1 point on the foot, the energy input point for ground Qi. So when we place weight onto KD 1 point, it actually stops the Qi from entering into the body. However, if the ground Qi did not enter the body we would die so it must come is some how. So, it builds up to such a degree that it comes through in violent bursts, which reach right up, into the reptile brain damaging it! This is the reason that many people experience violent shakes and body movement while standing in a basic Qigong stance. Many ‘masters’ say that this is powerful, but they are wrong. The weight must be placed upon the heels thus leaving KD 1 point free of all tension and allowing a moderate and balanced flow of Qi to enter the body gradually, thus enhancing the reptile brain.

We are always told to ‘sink the Qi’. But why? The reason is that only in this way does the Qi turn into ‘jing’, a more purified and evaporated type of Qi which is then able to flow to all parts of the body, condenses and settles into the marrow as fat enabling our body to produce more ‘T’ cells for our immune system. In ‘sinking’ we allow the ‘activation points’ for the Reptile Brain to work, activating the Reptile Brain. The very instant that you begin to discover ‘sinking’ or as the Chinese call it, ‘Sung’, you will feel the reptile brain come into play. For a short time, you feel invincible but do not worry that will go away, leaving you with a feeling of well-being because in this condition, your body is free to do what it has to without external tension and the Reptile Brain is free to help you to survive. Survival does not only mean survival against physical attack, but also against disease and pathogenic attack. Tension is one of the greatest things that affects the well being of the Reptile Brain so Qigong is able to help the Reptile Brain do its subconscious work unhindered by tension. All of your glands will be able to do their allotted work. Your Thymus gland, which is in charge of balancing the Qi, will not shrivel up as it does in most people at age around 15. The Thymus gland is more susceptible to stress than any other gland. When we are younger and have not much adult stresses placed upon us, this gland is large and healthy, a tuber shape reaching down from CV 22. So when we begin to get rid of stress, this gland comes back again to control our flow of Qi again. By becoming aware of the Reptile Brain we also activate and assist the Pineal gland, which is also responsible for our perception of nature and the things around us and our place on the planet. So it is not unusual for this gland to increase in size. There are some animals whose size of this gland is half the size of their total brain at birth enabling them to be totally aware of their environment from day one and be in total survival mode.

So while many people do Qigong simply to become more relaxed, they do not know that this ‘simple’ exercise is one of the most beneficial that anyone can do to enhance the Reptile Brain, hence enhancing the workings of the whole body. See (Photo No. 1) for the basic 3 circle standing Qigong stance."

Stimulation Of The Pineal Gland Through Internal Martial Arts

"It is this humble dabbler in medical science that we are able to get back the original function of the Pineal gland, like communication at a much higher level than just speech and communicating with the earth such as dolphins, whales and seal are able to do. We can do this by practicing Qigong and the internal martial arts. Back when science didn’t help at all, the ancient Chinese would simply say that when we do Qigong, we get back to normal, or what we should have been had we not been so reliant upon speech, travel, radio waves and television in modern times. Obviously, when a part of the body is not used, it becomes useless, like a leg muscle that has to be re-trained after a long illness of inactivity. We use our Pineal gland very rarely and on the odd occasion that it does work, we are amazed and call it coincidence or E.S.P. etc. These things should happen all the time but we have little use for real communication skills because it’s so easy to pick up a phone or to watch the news on the TV. Qigong helps our Pineal to work again by getting in touch with the ‘ground’ and ‘ground Qi’. This is the reason that in all internal martial arts, we are told to do nothing! This does not mean that we do not move or look or hear, but it means that our conscious brain rests while we practice thus giving our so-called extra-sensory organs a chance to re-establish themselves within our framework. However, it is not that easy of course as it takes much training before we are able to perform movements that are alien to us at a sub-conscious level. Hence the saying that it takes years before one advances in his or her Taijiquan training. It only takes a short time to learn the basic movements of Taijiquan. However, they are only that, movement! We must take these movements to a much higher level, a sub-conscious level so that they become like everyday things, like breathing or our heartbeat, they must the THAT automatic.

The reptile brain is that brain, part of the ‘Triune Brain’ that we use for survival; it is our oldest brain with the ‘Paleomammalian Brain’ (known as the "Limbic System" since 1952) being next and the youngest brain is called the ‘Neomammalian Brain’. All reptiles have the Reptile Brain, all mammals have the Paleomammalian Brain plus the Reptile Brain but it is only the higher Mammals such as humans that have all three brains.

Paul D Maclean in his exemplary work on the "Triune Brain" says of the Reptile Brain: "The remaining brainstem and spinal cord constitute a neural chassis that provides most of the neural machinery required for self-preservation and the preservation of the species".

The Reptile brain is where all of our ancient memory is stored, things like past lives, who we were and who we are, what we did and what happened to us, it’s all there for us to tap into if we wish to. Why would we want to do this? It is many people’s belief that stuff that happened to us in previous lives shows up on out current physical body. Like a birthmark that could possibly be linked back to when a previous incarnation was flogged for stealing a loaf of bread? So if we can get in touch with that memory that is causing the birthmark, then this is the first step in releasing the anguish caused by that ancient memory. The birthmark will not go away of course (many however believe that even this will disappear), however, the pain caused to our sub-conscious mind will be taken away from our knowing why. And any modern physical or emotional damage is usually easily fixed by allowing the patient to see why they are in such a mental state.

When a child is born it has to rely solely upon instinct and sensory stuff and reflexes. The child has no way of learning what is right or wrong. So it is little help to slap a child or chastise it in any way until it’s next brain comes into play so that is able to learn. When a child is slapped while still in the reptile brain mode, its only recourse is to go into survival mode (reptile brain mode) and as it cannot fight back, only cries! So how stupid is it to slap a child or to shake it to teach it a lesson when it has no way of learning!

Science now tells us that the reptile brain is that part that is in charge of these things. A child for instance knows nothing about the fact that if it fell off a table it would hurt itself, but if this happens, it will make an attempt to grab or in many cases it will not venture past the edge of the table. Why, because the reptile brain is looking after it.

Normally, there is no need to access the reptile brain in normal life. However, in order to learn properly the internal martial arts we must have access to this brain. It causes us to stand out from the so-called hard styles, as there is no mention of the reptile brain in any hard style that I know of. Hard styles are ‘hard’, they cause someone to be continually on the lookout for danger, and this is because hard styles are purely physical with little or no internal aspect. In the internal arts, we are taught that we are normal people, artists, writers, poets, schoolteachers, mechanics, mild mannered reporters etc. And we do not have to be tense and aware of an attack at any time! If an attack does happen our reptile brain kicks in and we are into survival mode becoming a raging animal fighting for our lives, with our physical conscious brain totally unaware of what is happening. We have of course done the training to cause our body to react with the correct movements but these have been done so much that they are now reflex actions that work independently from the conscious brain.

So an internal stylist does not LOOK like a martial artist because he or she does not have to! We can be totally happy in knowing that that instinctive survival mode will kick in at the right time taking care of business and not allowing our artistic brain to be affected by this confrontation. To this end, the internal martial arts of Taijiquan, Baguazhang and Xing-I Ch’uan have all been developed to cause the body to move in a self-defence manner automatically and reflexively.

Western science now accepts that we have a reptile brain, so much so that the rule in judging whether or not someone is clinically dead is to find out if the reptile brain is still functioning by sending out electrical waves. If it is not, then the person is dead!"

The Truth

"The idea of god as a conscious decision-maker puzzles me... It just seems so unnatural or artificial/man-made. Just "our" freedom of choice seems unnatural. Now to say there is an omniscient and omnipotent consciousness capable of choice and a plethora of other human-like qualities seems just as, if not more unnatural.

We know that we as individuals are imperfect and fake. We all have our "own" ideas of whats correct; perhaps we are all incorrect. What makes one view or decision more correct than another? It all depends on ones sense of perception.

To me decisions seem so unnatural. With our ability to act and decide, it seems we complicate the natural simplicity of nature.. The most natural way is a way of no action or no mind. Ones actions and mind only complicate and for this reason receive the title, "mother of the 10,000 things". There is no such thing as perfect actions. All actions have good and bad consequences whatever they may be. In addition, so are decisions imperfect. Our decisions, values and beliefs, seem to stray from the natural truth... The "truth" is unexplainable... and when we try to title what the "truth" is we forget to title what its not. This is because we view an illusion of the "truth" through a tiny viewpoint. This is "our" perception. An illusion in which "our" false-ego manifests.

This is why it is said so many times that we will never understand the truth until we can toss our false-ego aside. And once we do this, we cease to exist. This is why it is impossible for "us", as ego-bearing individuals, to comprehend the truth. We are too guilty of complicating simplicity, and the "truth" is the most simple of all. This is why, to the individual, the farthest thing from comprehension is the "truth"; our minds are too complex to comprehend the simplicity of the natural way.

To my knowledge, The truth is comprehensible as an ego-less experience. This is why we cannot fathom it and why we cannot explain it. Our false-consciousness is limited to singular perception. This singular perception is never truly "understood". What we call "understanding", is due to how one's experience compares relative to their others. Our language - and in fact science as whole for that matter - is only a relative understanding as well. Language, and science are both tools of discriminating, dividing, comparing, measuring, categorizing, etc. Due to this, a world of intellectual distinctions is created; of opposites which can only exist in relation to each other.

Because both our false-consciousness, our language or form of communication and the way we understand our world is only strictly known relative to our man-made divisions and distinctions, we will never know/comprehend/understand the exact truth. Because of this, we must go beyond our false-consciousness and let go of our false-ego which divides us from the whole. We must go beyond language and our primitive form of communication and into a realm of definite experiences. We must go beyond science and into a realm of understanding as a whole; not an array/gradient of complex relative nonsense.

Once we realize this, and escape the limits of what we believe is our reality, will we comprehend the truth."

How The System Is Controlled

"Have you ever heard that phrase, "everyone knows that mate."? Well, why does everyone know that? Well it's because the system is controlled by what i call repeaters. They're people in the situations of power and influence who just repeat what someone else tells them. A doctor is repeating what they were told at medical school and what the drug companies tell them. You got teachers who repeat what they learned in their exams and what they learned at teacher training college and they repeat that to the next generation. The great repeaters are what pass for journalists. Journalists are supposed to tell us whats happening in the world, but the fact is they don't know what's happening in the world. They know nothing! So, this is what they should be saying if they were telling the truth:

"Now over to Westminster where the latest news from David Icke"

"Thank you "you". Well, I got to be honest mate. I haven't got a clue what's going on! I'll tell you what my job is, right? I wear a dark suit, not normally, but you know, I'm just playing here. Anyways, I just came over from over there and I tell you what they told me is going on and I deliver it as if I know what's goin on and its really true. I haven't got a clue if it's true! But they tell me and they wouldn't lie would they? I mean, would Tony Blair lie about what's really happening? i mean would George Bush? Please... I'm a journalist, trust me. And so, what we call news "you", what you get paid a lot of money for reading articles about is merely propaganda that they have told me and I tell you. David Icke. BBC. ITN. CNN. CBS. SkyNews. Westminster.""

Christianity

"Christianity is a religion with a dubious history, yet many of the doctrines and stories are worth study. It is a religion which was created for political reasons. Constantine, The Emperor of Rome, knew one of the most basic tenets of government was the control of its people. The governmental control of people becomes much easier and effective when that government is able to also assume a "divine" authority. Although Rome holds no exclusive right to this idea, they certainly have etched their mark on history, enforcing their particular political machine. Christianity is the product of a governmental council acquiring and examining as many of the world's religious doctrines they could find; in order to create a "One World Religion". They took ideas and doctrine from Egyptology, Mithraism, Hinduism, Buddhism, the Torah of the Jews, and many others, picking the parts they wanted to include, altering them as they wished, discarding the parts they did not want included, and finally compiling their own plagiarized (and altered) writings to create the new Catholic (one from all) Bible. Since this was a plagiarized and altered conglomeration of many older works, many symbolic tenets have managed to retain their original meanings."

Tai Chi

"As we all may have heard of that Tai Chi Chuan-"the ultimate fist"-was originally developed as a martial art; however, with those seemingly flimsy forms and stagnant movements, can Tai Chi Chuan really live up to what it claims, the "ultimate"? The answer is yes, and no. No, technically, Shao Lin Kung Fu appears to be stronger and more, however, no matter how many forms one would like to add up, the ultimate form remains "formless," or form-free form, so, yes, Tai Chi Chuan reaches the "ultimate" by pushing beyond forms, and that is called "Tai Chi."

Tai Chi (太 極 ), literally means "the grand terminus," as it is taken from the meaning of "beyond the ridge of a roof." However, the metaphor goes beyond mere forms, Tai Chi is also the result of the whole classical Chinese view on existence. Didn't ancient Chinese "live" the same way we do, typically, the life phenomenon that described by science? The answer is actually quite surprising, no.

To account for their existence, sages of ancient Chinese devised a theory known as "Yin-Yang (陰 陽 )." According to the ancient classic "Huang Di Nei Jing," (黃 帝 內 經 , Yellow Emperor's medicine classic, which lays the foundation of the Traditional Chinese Medicine, or TCM), a Yin-Yang, or Yin and Yang, "have name but no form," that's to say that Yin-Yang is not a real mass but a set of "properties" that depicts how all things that come to being perpetuated and/or withered.

Literally, Yin and Yang are only referred as a sense of direction: the direction facing the Sun is called Yang, symbolizing "visible"; facing away from the Sun is called Yin, symbolizing "invisible"; nevertheless, they have been developed to become the metaphor for the two opposing forces of an existence. However, it's not because they are a pair of opposing forces that they can be called Yin and Yang. The forever-entangled web of Yin and Yang depicts some interesting properties.

A pair of Yin and Yang has four properties: 1.) Dui Li Tong Yi (對 立 統 一 ): They are the only two "opposite" forces that form the "whole." 2.) Xiang Ke Xiang Sheng (相 剋 相 生 ): They "suppress" and "nourish" the opposite at the same time. 3.) Wu Ji Bi Fan (物 極 必 反 ): They revert to the opposite side when they push beyond their limit. Last but not least 4.) Ji Jin Ping Heng (極 盡 平 衡 ): They maintain a dynamic balance, which is called "harmonized Yin and Yang," where ten-thousand things all flourish, so is the world/universe.

Based on Yin and Yang, the ancient Chinese view of life is not as a "fixed" entity but the flow of Yin and Yang two Qi (energy). Life begins as the world/universe forms. According to the Yellow Emperor's Classic, before the beginning, the world is neither thing nor non-thing called Hun-Tun (渾 沌 ), "chaos." Out of chaos, an order emerges, against stillness something is moving, a motion comes to exist. The primal motion is called Yuan-Qi (元 氣 , the primal energy). As Yuan-Qi splits and breeds Yin and Yang, life begins to taking shape. As life force breeds "Nian" (念 , thought), and thought forms mind, and mind in turn acknowledges the existence of life, life comes to being. As life perpetuates, Yin and Yang continue to evolve, where Yang floats to form the sky and Yin sinks to form the earth. As the harmonized sky and earth nourishes the ten-thousand things, the universe forms, and we human-Ren(人 )-prospers among them.

With such fluid, changeable characteristics it's easy to see that the world/reality based on Yin and Yang is not fixed. Such fluidity poses a difficult challenge to the westerners, who in general have a dualistic worldview such as a physical world-body-and non-physical world-mind-are two separated entities. However, the worldview of Yin and Yang presents a different reality.

Still, what may be the Yin and Yang exactly in this physical world? Breathing: inhale is Yin, and exhale is yang. Body and mind, where body is Yin, and mind is Yang. The harmonized body and mind is also known as Unism (Yi-Yuan, 一 元 ) where mind perceives and the body responses spontaneously. In such spontaneity, the distinction of body and mind vanishes and the two merge into "Unism," the total harmonious state of mind and body, a state of what is body is mind and what is mind is body. And that's the world of Yin and Yang.

In Tai Chi, our bodies are viewed as: The Tai Chi body is One, left and right make Two (Er-Yi, 二 儀 ); up and down make Four (Si-Xiang, 四 象 ), that's our four limbs; elbows and knees make Eight (Ba-Gua, 八 卦 ); plus hands and feet that total fifty-six sections make a total sixty-four sections (64 Gua) of the body. As the body is formed, so is the mind, as it acknowledges the sixty-four sections of the body. So, if mind ever wants to move the body to go where it wants to and balances against external force at the same time, it must coordinate all those sixty-four sections into one harmonious unit, and that's quite a complicated balancing act. Various Tai Chi Chuans or internal exercises were developed to explore and to achieve that end.

To reach the state of Tai Chi, the body must be allowed to reach the maximum performance. It's when the maximum performance reaches the ultimate state, Tai Chi transcends the physical body into Unism.

The transcendental path begins with Tai Chi Chuan thirteen steps; known as "Eight Jings and Five Directions (八 勁 五 行 )." "Eight Jings and Five Directions" happen naturally, some does without even knowing them. However, knowing them makes the method even more certain.

Jings(勁 )are mental power which utilize Qi to maintain the body postures. "Eight Jings" are Peng (掤 ), Lu (履 ), Ji (擠 ), An (按 ), Cai (採 ), Lie (列 ), Zhou (肘 ), and Kao (靠 ), which are eight principles and techniques to use Qi to move and to reshape the body on a static footing.

Peng is to pressurize the body and to project the Qi to the outside edge of the body (like a toad expands itself before a fight). The foundation of Peng is the Bow and Arrow stance. The Bow and Arrow stance is front leg "Bow" (bent) and back leg "Arrow" (straight). As the back leg pushes straight, we are neutrally forward. Some practice Peng with a bent rare knee to maintain the flexibility. However, such "improvement" does not concur with the nature of Peng-to Peng like "the way air fills the void."

Yielding and resisting at the same time, Lu is to reduce the Qi from the outer edge of the body without losing contact of the outside forces. The key to Lu is to shift the weight back to back leg and maintain the balance with it.

Ji is to squeeze; Ji is robust, covering space-time without "a hair spread of separation."

An is to push; expanding the Qi like a running stream, subtle but last, the way of An is to push intensively but steadily.

Cai is to pick, formless but delicately balanced.

Lie, splits or spins. Lie is to spin by rotating the hips.

Zhou, elbows, means using elbow for shorter distance.

Finally, Kao; Kao is to strike like "falling mountain," unstoppable yet no bouncing. Kao illustrates the idea of "being there at the right time and the right place."

While Eight Jings are used through out the forms, however, they can be easily found at the beginning of the popular Yang style long form. As it begins, "Zuo (left) Peng (左 掤 )" then "You (right) Peng (右 掤 )," we expand our space. Once we expanded, only way to move without changing the footing is to retreat, Lu is to shift the weight from the front leg to the back leg. To balance the yielding, we resist by "Soothing the Phoenix Tail" (Lan Que Wei, 攬 雀 尾 ) which in essence is Lu. To regain the space lost during the retreat, we squeeze in; Ji by pushing the forward knee and shifting the weight forward to occupy the space. Then Lie to split the Qi in "Open," and An to push in "Close" (Ru Feng Si Bi, 如 封 似 閉 ). Cai to balance the changes in the beginning of "Single Whip," and finish the "Single Whip" (Dan Bian, 單 鞭 ) by a symbolic Kao by pushing the left palm and the left knee forward into positions. Kao, though a trace may be found in Yang style "Slate Fly (斜 飛 式 )," however, it is better illustrated in Chen style's "King Kong Nails Fist" (Jin Gang Dao Chui, 金 剛 搗 捶 ) in the synchronicity of fist strike and foot stump.

As Eight Jings display Qi statically, "Five Directions" are used to carry the motion. "Five Directions" do not just mean some static directions, but also imply the orientation of the self, the front, the back, the left, the right, and above all the center. The emphasis of the orientation may seem trivial, but, is the front what the eyes facing, or what the body facing? To step forward heel first, are we moving forward or backward? Orientation cannot be done by just to discern the directions, it must also be felt. In feeling, we traverse the No-mind land, where No-mind is a state of mind where mind is no longer there.

In the No-mind environment, the front can be referenced by proper alignment of these three lines: the eyes line which forms the vision, the shoulder line, and the waist (hips) line. In a natural standing position, these three lines are generally parallel to each other; the body is then said to be "straight." The vision is the front, Yang; the invisible part is the back, Yin. Come with the front, there are sides, left and right.

Turning means when all three lines change direction to maintain a "straight" alignment. When these three lines are not parallel, the body is said to be "twisted." As the body "twists," Yin and Yang change. The orientation is lied on the sense of this balance of Yin and Yang of "straight and twist."

By moving forward, moving backward, turning left, and turning right, combining with twisting, spinning, Five Directions describe a dynamic environment where we remain centered.

Doing Tai Chi Chuan, by the ancient Tai Chi Chuan classics, is actually "feet stepping Five Directions and hands wielding Eight Jings" (Jiao Cai Wu Xing, Shou Hui Ba Jing , 腳 踩 五 行 ,手 揮 八 勁 ) to deliver the Qi to go where we want it to go. In Tai Chi Chuan, power, as Qi, is "issued from the feet (heels)," (Fa Yu Gen, 發 於 跟 ) "controlled on the waist," (Zhu Zai Yu Yao, 主 宰 於 腰 ) and "displayed in the hands" (Xing Yu Shou, 形 於 手 ). To achieve the maximum effect of Qi, Qi must be expanded along the least resistant path. As the Qi issued from the heels travels upward through knees, hips, back, to shoulders, elbows, to wrists, and displayed in hands, Eight Jings are used to open, close, move, and twist the joints to provide a proper channel (body posture) for the Qi to flow through.

As Eight Jings synchronize the body movement with the Qi, the least resistant path is reached when the body movement matches the Qi it delivered. As they do, Eight Jings transcend the whole body into interwoven of Qi, that is shaped by expanding, contracting, twisting of the joints along the lines from heels to the fingertips.

In Tai Chi Chuan practice, hands are held as "Yin-Yang Hands." The palm represents Yin, the back of a hands represents Yang. "Yin-Yang Hands" is referring to a two hands' relation that is one hand is Yin (the palm), the other hand must be Yang (the back). Yin-Yang Hands are maintained through out the forms; that is, when one hand moves, both hands will move in a synchronized fashion; one hand turns to Yin, then the other hand will turn to Yang at the same time; one hand moves up, the other hand moves down to balance the change. By our nature, the movements of Yin-Yang Hands describe a "ball" where the palms are moved along the surface of it.

When we play the ball by moving the wrists, we are playing a small ball. Normally, we control the ball by moving the shoulders, which will give us a ball about the size of our chests. And even bigger ball can be wielded if we control it from the heels. As Five Directions expand the ball by moving the heels to where Eight Jings are most efficient, with Eight Jings and Five Directions pushing the body to the maximum performance, the movement of Yin-Yang Hands describes the elusive "Tai Chi Ball."

As the balance of Yin and Yang shows a way to Tai Chi, Tai Chi Chuan is to learn the balance of Yin-Yang Hands to learn the harmony of Yin and Yang. As Yin-Yang Hands form a Tai Chi ball, practicing Tai Chi Chuan is actually learning how to roll the Tai Chi ball. "Tai Chi Ball" is the "perfect" ball. When you find the "Tai Chi Ball," you'll know what Tai Chi Chuan is, the formless form. As Tai Chi Ball transcends the forms, the next step is to transcend the mind.

"Tai Chi is the gateway to Tao(太 極 乃 入 道 之 基 )," proclaimed by the Tai Chi Chuan founder Zhang San-Feng (張 三 丰 ), lays the intention of the practice, Tai Chi Chuan is a moving meditation. And Tai Chi Chuan traverses the universe by "moving" through it.

Tai Chi Chuan begins with Wu-Chi. Wu-Chi symbolizes the state of non-existence. Tai Chi begins as we breathing in. As the breathing continues, two things happen: the sensation of the breathing and the sensation of the weight. As we feel the sensations, there is mind. Come with mind, there is the body. Initially, the mind and body are not separated, just like a new born baby's mentality--it thinks as it moves. It is the later learning that separates the mind and body. Thus, to unify the mind and body, we have to un-do the learning.

For no way to anchor a mind, we use breathing to hold our mind. The strategy is as Qi drives the body, mind also rides along. So, eventually they meet. Qi is spawned out of Dan-Tian (丹 田 ). Dan-Tian is a point in the body where breathing is initiated. Located close to the center of gravity, Dan-Tian is also known as the "weight." To move, we have to move the weight first, it is the "control at the waist." Supported by our feet, the weight is rest on either or both feet. The foot that holds the most weight of the body is the anchor point, which depicts a sense of direction: it is inward when we move toward the anchored foot, and it is outward when we move away from the anchored foot. As in term of Yin and Yang, inward is Yin, outward is Yang (陰 入 陽 出 ). Thus, breathing in is inward, and breathing out is outward. Then, to flow with breathing, we move our bodies inward when we breathe in and outward when breathe out. As the practice continues, our bodies develop a rhythm that is synchronized with breathing.

With mind concentrates on breathing, and breathing drives the body along, we are in the position to make the transformation that unifies the mind and body. Notice how thought disappears when the thought touches its true reality? When the idea of body (mind) and the body are in perfect harmony, thought disappears. Mind reflects only the pure senses of the body, and the body flows with breathing on its own. Finally, as mind and body merging with breathing, mind forgets self and the body loses its form. In a mess where a unified mind and body prevails, we find that we are no longer performing but being performed, as without mind, we are only the media. The perfection that we experienced is not ours but the making of nature, the ultimate reality, Tai Chi.

As Tai Chi Chuan practice moves through the initial stage of forms to the state of ever-perpetuating Tai Chi Ball to the natural state of mind and body, nature trues. As the body moves according to its nature, mind un-learns itself and re-learns the true essence of nature, thus, becomes a No-mind. With No-mind, the body moves with its natural agility and grace. As mind and body merge into a unified mind and body, where mind "sees," and the body "does" spontaneously. In Tai Chi Ball, Qi is "here" and "there" all at the same time. Tai Chi Chuan transcends the universe into Unism. As body moves naturally coordinated, mind merges into Unism; mind forgets self, and body loses its form. When we reach the stage of "no body and no mind," all is left is Unism itself, we will have entered the realm of Tai Chi. Tai Chi Chuan is the "ultimate fist"."

"Life is art. Life is choices computers can't make; self expression. Life is self expression.

Is travelling to "my" new altered state of consciousness like obtaining the truth? Thus me feeling like my egofull self is on the correct path, or is it me creating a truth identical to "my" truths, and thus feeling self accomplished when really my truths are no more or no less false than my trips.

Life's a trip.

Is the path of nature no mind (egoless) or am i already one with the path of nature and my choices like everyones are the natural balance in application (egofull)?

Words suck...

Life is so fucked, why would i wanna even try to figure out all that is? Sometimes it's just best to find comfort in societal norms and just call it that.

I become cynical, because every person is constantly trying to fulfill something that is false to the source. But whats worse is they call it "truth", and what's far more worse is that i am guilty of this...

When i experience or realize what life is, i don't know what to do other than have or fight a seizure.

The feeling of faeries on my neck (green, blue, white, red faerie dust)

Why is something something?

Life is so... FUCKED

I don't know anything...

I just became false music in false action.

When i realize we are, i become scared for myself.

The difference from nirvana (egoless) and maya (egofull) is a seizure.

A picture only is a bunch of colours coming together.

How come just taking a second to experience "now" is titled strange or weird by society

Ego really is so false to all but so true to the one or individual.

I am having so many FUCKED, plethoras of epiphanies and paradoxes and i don't even know what half of that means???

I'm scared if i eat psilocybin mushrooms one more time i'll end up in a monastery in tibet meditating (Anatta)

Fuck art. Art is an illumination of false ego.

Is the reality we manifest based off of what we as a whole find comfortable? Is it something emplty of essence we create falsly to fall back on when we reach the stage of unknowing/egoless/no self, or what i like to call a seizure?

Everyone needs psilocybin mushrooms! but fuck that... what i just said is only my false ego emanating.

Peeing your pants is just peeing your pants. Everything just is to the egoless.

Enlightening is tossing aside/not givin a fuck about what means everyhing to you.

Everyone is a kindred soul... just that! No need to look past that. One can't without bringing in his or her false ego

Walking is the new dancing.

It's ok that i don't know how i am.

The ultimate truth is a disease to society or to oneself for that matter. Enlightenment is a disease to society.

There is no mushroom, it is all self pursuing no self.

To be enlightened is to be cynical about everything.

That bass tickles my asshole."
